Hurt To Hope Orphanage
Child Protection & Development
Whereas Kenya’s constitution 2010 spells out measures on child protection, millions of children whom we refer as Orphans and Vulnerable Children-[OVC] in Kenya and around the world – from all socio-economic backgrounds, across all ages, religions and cultures – experience one form or the other of abuse every day.
Children are still exposed to violence, harmful practices, lack of parental care and sexual exploitation among others. The risks are more aggravated during emergencies such as floods and drought, domestic violence, political chaos among others.
Hurt to Hope Orphanage provides a Child Protection and Development ethics Program ( CPDEP) that offer care and protection to vulnerable children and youth. Because of our reputation among many people about children care; we receive regular phone calls from various parties/ or people who rescue abandoned children hopping for us Hurt to Hurt Orphanage to adopt one of these hopeless and lost orphans, to rehabilitate and reintegrate them into society. But that has not been possible due to our insufficient financial and utility capabilities, we still have long way to go so that we can do enough to most of the needy and vulnerable children in our society.
Dependable care and protection for the Orphans is done via provision of shelter, food and nutrition, parental love, psychosocial support, spiritual guidance, career mentorship and education among many other critical services good for the growth and development of any to be a reliable child in the society. This is why we humbly ask you to sponsor an orphan child and support Hurt to Hope Orphanage through our support agencies provided in this website. We assure you for a very worthy usage of your sponsorship to a child under our transparency and accountability.
