Hurt To Hope Orphanage

Talents & Giftedness Development

We greatly appreciate the natural, inherent talents of children. Talent and giftedness search alongside Sports Development has been a key component in Hurt to Hope orphan programs.

We regard Talents as a special natural ability, aptitude, or capacity for doing something well that is often inherent or innate, rather than learned through practice. Hurt to Hope Orphanage considers these innate abilities that come naturally from an individual and abilities that have provided avenues for learning, development and practice whose outcome is the pursuit of art, profession or task.

The initiative complements formal education to nurture careers among children and above all it promotes rehabilitation as well as overall social transformation.

These programs provide children and young people with valuable information and life skill tools to actively make a difference in their own lives.

Besides nurturing academic career dreams of children and youth, many children continue to rediscover their potentials in Hurt to Hope Orpanage through a range of talent and sporting activities including; Drama & Theatric art Troupes, dances/ Music and Choir,  Fine arts, Football and basketball. Most children have made their talents a major relief for their daily needs, which actually after they graduate out of Hurt to Hope Orphanage, they go to the society and begin making life dependence on their natural talents. That’s why Hurt to Hope Orphanage is a place to count for life change to the Vulnerable and Orphans Children [OVC].
